Hint: Costume Availability
Android 18 is one of the only constestants with more than two outfits. Its first two outfits are from the Cell saga and the third is an outfit from the Buu saga. Sadly this character is the only one in the game who has this variety of dress.

Gohan also has three costumes. One is a take off of Goku's orange costume, another is the Great Saiyaman costume minus the head gear, and the last one is blue and red.
Cheat: Unlock Everything
Enter the Skill Shop while holding down the L2 button. Bulma will talk, but just leave, while holding the L2 button still. Re-enter the shop, repeat the trick over and over and your percent of your Capsules keeps increasing. This also unlocks characters for you, Breakthrough capsules, fusions, everything.
Cheat: Budokai 2 Save
If you have a Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 save on your memory card when you start the game you can unlock the Bardock Capsule, Bibidi's Pot Capsule, and the Silver Membership Card Capsule.
Easter Egg: Flying Roshi
To get Master Roshi to fly on the loading screen, rotate your analog sticks quickly to the left and right and he will first start to spin very quickly, then he will start to fly. You can make him move around with your directional buttons.
Hint: Transformation Invincibility
This trick works with any character that can transform into an unlocked potential form, any Sayian form, etc.
First, aquire the needed power stages to transform, but do not transform just yet. Wait for your opponent to throw an energy wave, like Kamehamea, Rocket punch, Vanishing Ball, etc. Right after the wave is thrown at you--but before you're hit--transform. Your character will be transformed, and you will not recieve damage from the attack wave.
Cheat: Free Capsule Increase
With a memory card inserted (to save progress), enter an item shop. Hold L1 + L2 and leave. Repeat the process for more stuff.
Unlockable: Tiencha, Gocruel, and KibitoShin
Collect the dragonballs and earn the breakthroughs for Goku, Hercule/Sataan, Yamcha, Tien, and The Supreme Kai/Kaio Shin. After that, gather the dragonballs again and earn their fusion capsules.

Captain Ginyu: Beat him with Vegeta in Dragon World

Android 18: Beat her with Krillin in Dragon World
Android 17: Beat him with Piccolo in Dragon Waorld
Android 16: Beat him with Goku in Dragon World
Cell: Beat him with Goku in Dragon World
Great Saiyaman: Beat Cell with Gohan in Dragon World
Hercule: Beat Majin Buu (fat) with Great Saiyaman
Videl: Beat Super Buu (with Gohan absorbed) with Hercule
Future Trunks: Beat Vegeta on Namek with Kid Trunks
All the Buus: Get all of the dragonballs in dragon world and wish for Babidi's spaceship. Then do any of the stages in Babidi's ship to gain kili. If you have enough kili you can unlock the Buus automatically (a capsule would show up when the kili is being collected at the end of each stage).
Hint: Gain More Kili In Babidi Ship
While in Babidi's ship select the first stage that is to defeat all enemies that you can. Then in the character selection choose Dr. Gero (and make sure he has life drain). Then all you have to do is to continuing using life drain so your life will never run out.
